The ground floor includes a boot room, with a heated ski-boot rack, a toilet, the boiler room and laundry facilities.
The open plan style first floor includes double height ceilings, with enormous windows on all sides - ensuring an abundance of natural light and clear views of the spectacular 3000m mountain peaks which ring the chalet. This level offers two lounge areas; one with a work station, a 55 inch TV and plenty of games. The second lounge area is centered around a beautiful 360 degree, glass fronted wood fired place. On the other side of the fireplace is a seperate dining area with an extendable dining table seating up to 16 people. An open plan, fully equipped professional kitchen is located next to the dining area.
A wellness area is located on the first floor, and incorporates a sauna, a shower room and an outdoor jacuzzi + lounging area on the adjacent terrace. This terrace also provides access to the outdoor swimming pool (open during the summer months).
There is also 1 luxuriously, and tastefully appointed ensuite bedroom, with a super king sized bed.
The second floor includes:
- 4 bedrooms with a super king sized bed (or twin beds);
- 1 family room, with a super king sized bed (or twin beds) and 3 single beds located on a mezzanine above.
Each room is luxuriously appointed with its own ensuite bathroom, equiped with an Italian shower and/or a bathtub. There is also a sitting area in each room with a comfortable couch.
Ferme du Ciel is located in the quiet hamlet of Mathonex, south facing on the heights of Samoens. Characterised by sweeping views of the valley and surrounding peaks, an historic chapel, and a plethora of hiking trails, it is a calm corner of paradise, easily accessible (~4km) from the center of Samoens.
Pets are accepted if you inform us upfront. We will ask for an additional cleaning fee of 50 EUR.
